Spa & Wellness Retreats in France

France invented the spa town, and it still does wellness better than anywhere in Europe — but the best of it is not bookable online. The treatment rooms at the great palace hotels release a handful of appointments to their own guests first. The thermal establishments in the Alps keep private hours. The therapists worth travelling for are booked months ahead by people who know to ask.

We arrange wellness the way we arrange everything else: around the rest of your trip, so it lands on the right day and in the right mood.

What we arrange

  • Palace hotel spas in Paris — treatment suites, private hammam and pool hours, and appointments with specific therapists rather than whoever is free.
  • Alpine wellness — post-ski recovery, altitude massage, cryotherapy and physiotherapy in Courchevel and Megève, arranged for the evening you actually need it.
  • Provence retreats — thermal springs, vineyard spas and multi-day wellness stays in the countryside.
  • In-residence treatments — therapists, masseurs and practitioners brought to your hotel suite, chalet or villa.
  • Private fitness — trainers, yoga and pilates instructors, and hotel gym access outside public hours.

Why guests ask us rather than the hotel concierge

A hotel concierge can book their own spa. They cannot get you into someone else’s, move an appointment when your lunch overruns, or find a therapist who speaks English at nine in the evening in a ski resort. Because we hold the whole itinerary, we can place wellness where it does the most good — after the long flight, before the black-tie dinner, on the day the weather turns.

Who it suits

Guests recovering from a transatlantic flight who want the first day to count. Skiers who would like to be able to walk on day four. Couples marking something. Anyone travelling long enough that the trip needs a quiet day in the middle of it.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should spa treatments be booked?

Two to three weeks for Paris palace hotels, and longer over Christmas, New Year and the February holidays. In-residence treatments can often be arranged within 24 hours.

Can treatments be arranged in our chalet or suite?

Yes. In the Alps this is usually the better option after a full day on the mountain — the therapist comes to you rather than the reverse.

Do you work with spas outside our hotel?

Yes. We are not tied to where you are staying, which is the main practical difference between us and a hotel concierge.
